Book Worm Update

2019 Reading Challenge: 31 books out of 52 (60%).

I'm still reading like crazy. I love reading anything that I can get my hands on to. Often whenever I get paid, I'll buy one of two books from Amazon's Kindle Store as books on there are incredibly cheap. I've been very careful not to buy too many books on there as I don't want to buy more books than I can keep up with reading.

A few months ago, Amazon has released a new Kindle PaperWhite. The adds have been all over Facebook, Instagram and other websites. I've got no intention of getting it as my current Kindle PaperWhite is still functioning extremely well and smoothly. I've had mine for about sixteen months now and I'm still very happy with it. I remember being very reluctant and a bit cautious when debating if I should be getting a Kindle PaperWhite, because I'm someone who still loves reading hard copy books. I have a few hard copies books that I'm planning to read over our upcoming holiday (Andy and I have booked over a 9 day holiday at the end of June and we aren't planning to go anywhere). So its gonna an amazing time to catch up on sleep and a few books that I've been wanting to read for ages).

Current Read (*Contains Spoilers*)

I've been reading the Me Before You books by Jojo Moyes. I'm almost finished the second book (pictured here). Its called After You. Its about Louisa Clark's life after the death of Will Traynor. Me Before You, book one, is basically about how Lou meets Will and is paid to care for him after his accident. Will is a very difficult person for Lou to befriend, and she ends up befriending him none the less. After discovering some really bad news from Will's mother, Lou sets out to give Will all the reasons to live, and the two end up falling in love, without meaning to.

So After You is basically Lou Clark's journey towards adjusting to life after Will's death in Switzerland. So far there are some incredible shocking realizations and surprises along the way. Jojo Moyes is an credible writer and her books are very easy to read. I'm really enjoying her books and I'm really looking forwards to reading the next book, Still Me, after I've finished After You.

Continued Progress with My 2019 Reading Challenge

I'm currently ahead of schedule with my GoodReads Reading Challenge by nine books. This is kinda surprising as I didn't think I'd be getting so far ahead given I've been reading a lot of easier reads over the last few months. I may have to change my reading challenge, but at the moment, I'm not going to do this just yet. If you want to help me with keeping on top of my reading challenge this year, feel free to buy me one of the books on my reading list (the link is http://amzn.eu/7GM9Xqc).
