Something Like My Journal

My dearest Readers.

Over the last few weeks, the regular posts that I've written on here have been a huge help to me mentally, it has with helping me with my fight against the depression I have. I love being able to have this space where I can share how I'm doing and what I'm thinking, in a more or less safe place (this is the internet, nowhere is one hundred percent safe anymore). I still keep a hardcopy journal, for safety and for my sanity, because it where I can write about the details I don't want to write about anywhere else. I've discovered that this blog has become something of an online journal.
I've been writing on here to share my thoughts on various things. I've realised that there are something that are better left unsaid, because of the backlash that I get (writing about my weight is one such topic) and that's why I've decided to take a break in regards to writing about those things. I've also had requests to write about certain topics that I'm just not ready to write about. This is a place where I want to share my life with you, the good, the bad and the ugly. One day I'll write a book about my life and this is my practicing ground. Of course, I'll use my actual journals (once I get my hands on them all, as some of them are stuck in a shoe box in a container in Uganda) more than anything else, but I'll probably use posts that I've written on here as well, depending on what I've ended up posting on here. I still am on medication, if you're wondering, and it's been a great help to me in regards to dealing with it. Journaling has been a great help to me, as well as keeping this blog. Its just as much as a safe place for me to write about my life as it is for you to read. I hope that you'll keep coming back for more.
