I know that a lot of you have been wondering about how things have been going on the job hunting front. I haven't written about that because I wanted to just enjoy the fact that God has opened another door for me! So yes, I have got another job, but I don't know when I'll be starting it because I'm still waiting for my DBS (disclosure and barring service) to come back. To work in care, you need to prove you don't have a criminal record (as you'll be working with vulnerable adults). I'm not going to write a lot about the home I'm going to be working in, but it's a private care home in Reigate and I had the interview last week. It went really well. The care home is smaller than Francis Court and I like that. Its got a completely different feel to it and I love that. Thank you so much for your love and support over the last few weeks.

Over the last few weeks of not having a job, I've had the chance to do a few things that I hadn't been able to do. As you know, I was able to spend time with my cousin, Amanda. I also spent time with Andy, both at the beginning of September and over the last week. I'm not sure when we're gonna be able to spend time together, but I'm hoping that we'll get a decent amount of time off together over Christmas and my birthday. My birthday's 3 days before Christmas and I often like taking it off to celebrate with friends and family.
