Yesterday, saw the end of the second Elizabethan era. Yesterday, an amazing queen, Elizabeth II, passed away after more than 70 years on the British throne. Yesterday, we stepped into a new era, with a new king, Charles III. There's a deep sadness inside that is shared by so many. Queen Elizabeth II served the people of not only the British but those of the Commonwealth. She gave over 70 years of her life to her nation and to the Commonwealth of Nations.
So this post is a brief thank you to an incredible woman, an amazing queen. Thank you, Your Majesty, for all you gave to us. May you have peace and rest, now you are reunited with your beloved husband, Philip. We will miss you. May we never forget you. May God bring comfort to the family you left behind as they grieve for you as a mother, a grandmother, and a great-grandmother.
